"Brooke is doing great. As she has aged, she has gotten better
behaved. She comes with ease when it is time to put everyone up in the
evening. She keeps an eye on the kid pen while staying close to the
rest of the girls. Ya, she does get into mischief once in a while, but
thats the dog in her. I wish I had a picture of Magic on the big spool
with Brooke right besides her. Magic had her head on Brooke's back and
slowly started to push until Brooke just rolled off. Magic starts all
kinds of things with Brooke but we have been there often enough to make
sure Brooke knows not to chase. We wouldn't trade her for anything".

"Just a note to let you know how Cheyenne is doing. I had a little trouble with
her picking on one of the smaller lambs, but after verbally correcting her
a few times she has left it alone. She enjoys walking the pasture boundary
with me each morning and is very alert. She quickly became the Alpha dog
on the place but has not shown aggression to my Pyr.
When someone drives up to my place, she barks ferousiously and displays
a very aggressive demeanor. After I go out and introduce her to the visitor,
she accepts them, but this needs to be done each time. She is very sweet
and gentle with the people she realizes are close to me. (ie my girlfriend and my
grand children). She even came over and laid down with her head in my girl
friends lap when we were sitting in the pasture looking at the lambs.
Thanks again for what you did for Cheyenne. Hope God blesses you and yours".
The above is a post from the new owner of Cheyenne-- she is a 10 mos old Anatolian
that was with goats when she was a pup but the goats got killed by dogs when she was 5 mos old and then she started wandering. She was not going to stay home she was looking for her goats. I could not keep her in any of my fences-- she needed more room and a country home. I found that for her and it sounds like she is doing a good job in her new home.

Big Boy, Shadow and Bonnie Bear are all adopted! Bonnie Bear was rescued from a Kill shelter. Her running mate was put down
by the kennel before rescue could save her. More updates on these dogs will be posted here as it comes in!
Hiya! It's been a long time, but I thought I'd drop a line and let you know
how Tiamat is doing (in case the name isn't ringing any bells, I used to be
Kris Wolf!). I sent a message to your old emial address a while back, but
don't know if it went through or not...
Anyway, she is doing great, and is healthy as a small horse! She is still
very quiet (won't bark!), but plays all the time and acts like one of the
kids. We have also adopted two cats, and she loves them, too (not too sure
how they feel about her, but she gets very playful when they're around
(VBG!)). I'm sending a picture along so you can see her!
